Happy Birthday Dad. You guys would've liked him, he had a thing for my first Roadster, him and his mate were always trying to bag a drive in it :)

Thanks both. He held the proud achievement of pushing a 1.1L Vauxhall Nova to 107mph on the B954 southbound (downhill) with me as a young child in the back (I proudly told my mum on our return, it did not go down well). Petrol in my veins ever since

Life brings tears, smiles and memories.
The tears dry,
the smiles fade,
but memories last forever.

Am I naive in thinking that the MR2 is the only car in its price bracket and type that can make people feel genuinely happy?

These kinds of posts are heartwarming in a few ways but it makes you proud to be a 2 owner if I brought someone these moments of happiness and memories for life.

He taught you well :)
