Headcase is making great progress with my car. Fully recon 2zz in car, new rings , shelves, oil pump and gears etc. Stage 2 cams and Rotrex. Link storm ECU.Charge coole.r Car running today. got to finish off stuff before it goes to get mapped. Hardest part is that I have got  to run it in before final map...

In the region of 300 bhp is what i would be looking for.

Run it in properly.

Stock internals. Engine has been out and had a full rebuild, rings, shelves, oil pump, chain, gears, vvti unit etc. Have got to run it in

Picking up car tomorrow afternoon. Got to run it in though with the rev limit set at 4000....Got to get 1000 miles on it asap to then return for final map to release the full potential!

Going to daughters armed forces day sat, 250 round trip, 100 miles on dyno, 180 to headcase and back. 530! will try and get the rest done within 2 weeks!

1000 miles required to run new engine in done in a week.4000 rpm limit on a safe map. Car now back with headcase to sort a few things out, dashpod with display etc. Going for dyno and full map to release mall those horses. Hope to collect car sat!

Sounds great! When do we get to see pictures?

Fingers crossed for some good numbers at the end, in the USA there are a few 2zz rotrex mr2s (as I'm sure you know) and on c30-94 they seem to make about 350whp, so on UK dyno it's about that same number at the fly from most comparisons I've seen... Should be properly potent!!

did you make the supercharger brackets or buy them?

Car has spent pretty much all day on the dyno, results are 349bhp at the flywheel and a nice flat torque curve of 248. Am collecting it Sat!
