Hi guys,

I've noticed that my Mr2 feels like it's sliding to the right if I put my foot down. Does this mean the wheels aren't balanced? Or another problem?

michaelb

And not pulling to the right, just feels like it's sliding

Brakes ok? Including handbrake?

There's a bit of a squeak from the front right. It is due for MOT in June

Handbrake hold ok? Just wondering if you have a sticky calliper.

I had a similar issue and my first port of call were tyres and steering geometry. Any good tyre place will check them for free.

Handbrake seems fine. I'll take it down to a tyre place and get it all checked. Thanks

Which brand and which tyre sizes?
What pressures are you using?
Last time you had a full 4 wheel alignment?
Would be amazed if your rear calipers where working perfectly it is an MR2 after all.

I had a similar issue.

Same brand of tyres at the correct pressure. But one of the rears was brand new and the other was old.

Changes the speed at the outer edge of the tyre I guess
