also, I'm considering buying proper coilover. What BC model should I look at, and what spring rates to choose? I'm mainly driving on street, occasional once in month rallysprint od rough, uneven surfaces (watch last onboard) and once in a year proper trackday at nice, flat track

I can't fault the 4/6kg spring setup on the BC BR-RA coilovers. Although for what you do it might even be worth going 5/7kg on the springs and controlling the damping for uneven surfaces. Where the 4/6 will become a bit springy at low damping, the 5/7 should hold firm.

-with new seat I couldnt use handbrake anymore, there wasnt just enough room for arm move, so I made an extension lever  s:D s:D  then tightened handbrake calipers, cut front rsr tires and mounted harnesses
















-then attented another rallyspirnt event, finished 3rd in class, the wheather was terrible

It was a great ice rallying season, 5 weeks racing non stop, almost 1000kms on studded tires sideways, sometimes at speeds reaching 180kmhs   s8) s8)  and 5 full fuel tanks.

But there's a but - racing at these conditions is not easy on bumpers, wings and other plastic stuff, so when ice became too thin it was time for tebuild of some parts - so came new bumper, new wings on the right side, new right door, new head and tail lamp on the right side, new side mirror and antenna   s:lol: :lol: s:lol:  and then new engine oil, new top millers product - cfs nt+

















The car was ready for another racing event, this time circuit racing on go-kart track. It was celica club poland meet and it was great fun!

Excellent video & shows some great driving.  It reminded me of when I used to navigate on Motoring News Road rallies when a lot younger in a full house Ford Escort RS2000 - we were more sideways than straight....great fun.  The car performs extremely well & that 2ZZ engine just sings.

haha picture of the day - made my day  s:) s:)  thanks for kind words. yes indeed the car gives me so much fun... Sometimes I miss the days of building the car, the engine, it was fun too and it makes me wonder what to build next, but then I realize I cant think of other car that offers so much grip in dry, so much fun in wet/slippery, open roof in summer and reliabiality. I even considered buying something new, gt86 or focus rs, one is fun, but slow, the other is fast and fun but german  s:) s:)  so for a while I have to stick to little mr2. Maybe some full race mods in future? who knows

Finished ~0,5s slower than him.

So if I could choose heavier & stronger vs lighter & a little less power there is just 1 proper answer.
