I came across these and I am thinking about giving them a go. I just need to work out what fittings I need:

Anyone fitted these from this manufacturer? Any good?

I got mine from Brian Stanczyk on facebook. They are complete with all the fittings you need for about £50 and well worth it in my opinion.

Was that for a pair or front and rear? I took photos of someone's struts at the last 2oc show/meet for part numbers and obviously they're different struts.

We're looking for a set for both front and rear covers, as we had gas lifter struts on our Gen 6 Celica. If there's a group buy consider us in if the price is competitive.
Owned a few Toyotas, still own a few. Known around the interweb as Old Red Celica. Heinz our TF300 is named that because he\'s number 057.  MR2 is technically Mrs Old Red\'s, but she does FB, I do forums.

Julie has contacted Bryan on Facebook, he only does the engine cover ones and it would be weeks before he has another batch ready.
On eBay there is a seller who lists, engine cover and a set for the trunk (@£80 a set), anyone used these?

Ordered the front and rear damper struts from eBay. Was £126, but there should be a small refund on some of the postage. Will let you know when they turn up

Pictures are the same as the £80 sets, but no watermark and £17 a set cheaper.

If they don't fit, there will be suitable feedback left and a whole forum will know  s;) ;) s;)

Haha! Good call! I'm deferring purchasing mine until I've sorted some other stuff out, they're definitely a convenience but I can live without them for the time being.
And I'm setting off for a few days round Wales in the morning so best make sure it survives that first [emoji2].

It's always best to ask a forum for a heads up first, but sometimes you have to be the one to give the heads up.

Enjoy your trip, wrong side of the country for us. But enjoyed our trip to North Wales a few years ago.

It is me, I'm East Yorks but the Europe trip went pear shaped so we're making the best of what we can manage! Cheers!

Right feedback time.
The engine cover one takes 10mins to fit and is easy peasy. 10mm socket and a flat bladed screwdriver to stop the bracket spinning whilst doing up the bolt.

The front Bonnet ones. Not as straight forward, obviously meant for cars without plastic shroud . I did fit it, but the rams fouled and started to lift the edge's of the bonnet, even before the bonnet was pushed down to the catch.
So I will fettle the plastic to allow the rams to drop down low enough.

Ha, I thought about 15mm would do it.  I used a soldering iron to mark up and cut through to fit the wing bracket. I would have done it tonight, but ran out of light.

I came across these and I am thinking about giving them a go. I just need to work out what fittings I need:

Anyone fitted these from this manufacturer? Any good?

Sorry for dredging this up! Did you have any luck working out fittings etc. you needed for these? They are much cheaper than the ebay ones.

By the time you've added VAT and any postage those struts alone are £40 plus a pair, without the fittings if I read it right last time?

You might be right. After finding this I realised you need two struts. If I get round to it I'll probably do the eBay set

I've got the ebay sets on mine front and back, I looked at buying separates myself but gave up in the end. The brackets with the ebay ones are slightly more industrial than the bespoke ones I've seen on others but work fine.
