Coil overs

Hi

My last MOT identified that the ront and rear coils are showing signs of surface corrosion. They're ok but I'm considering upgrading the suspension to coilovers in the next 3 to 6 months. I like the look of the BR Racing system but there seems to be different versions and I don't have a clue where to start. Any advice on this system or an alternative upgrade, £700 to £1000.

MeisteR are affiliated to the forum.
Some people are trying to get a group buy going.
Probably the best replacement for a firmer but stock-like experience.

Alternatively, a full suspension refresh with KYB dampers and maybe Tein springs is very popular. Stock comfort with much improved ride quality

Coilovers can be the cheapest route BC are good value.
I have had meister R on both my 2s and would buy them again.

If going coilovers be warned they are much stiffer than stock.
It's not for everyone.
In they case the aforementioned kyb dampers with lowering springs would be a better if not always cheaper choice.

Confused by this post.  I need to replace suspension soon and I can get KYB + Tein for about £410 delivered.

Surely this is much cheaper than any coilover option?

Does the £410 include all the ancillaries? Top mounts etc? If you're planning a FULL refresh with mounts and everything then you'll be nearer the £700 mark, which is why coilovers are often more cost effective for a complete refresh.

As above.
Also i got my first set from the group buy and they were less than 700.
I love coilovers so would have them anyway sharper turn in and very little roll.
Stock was too much like a boat.
Until the roads get really bad then coilovers aren't so clever.
Rough with the smooth.
