Hi, anyone know which pins are power and ground?

I think it's dead but want to try powering it outside of the car.

Although the internet is my friend, it didn't help me with this question ☹️

Thanks so much for digging them out, the cables & connectors aren't quite the same as in my car, but it gives me enough.
I think my headunit is dead then :-(

Over the years we've seen the odd post fly by about a PFL stereo going dead. Must be an age thing
...neutiquam erro.

Still got a decent single din unit if you want it.

Thanks, I'd like to get a standard Sony one working if I can,  me being an PFL purist :)

Full marks for keeping with the original faith.  I've also got a 10 CD changer and my sons are regularly bemused when I burn music onto CDs.  Especially as it is "real" CDs and not MP3 compilations (the changer predates MP3!!)

Keep telling them its the future....

where does the CD changer go? Is it in  a bin behind the seats?

Joesson

That's where I saw a cd changer in a 2 that I didn't buy.
My 2 has an Alpine unit, I guess that was changed from OE by the original owner.

I think the bin is the correct location, but mine is stood up on the floor behind the passenger seat to preserve bin space.  The passenger seat is one notch forward of its full rear travel.

I already had the 10 changer from another car, would have liked a thinner changer that might fit under the passenger seat - like the 6 changer that Toyota offered!
