I'm really interested in your update as I'm looking to swap out stock suspension in the next 3-6 months.

I do have them on my civic for a year and i like them. Everything depends on what you are using the car for, if you are not doing track days id go for progressive springs coz they take the potholes and uneven roads better than the linear ones. Also coils are a bit hard to get the best out of them coz they require a lot of settings. And when you add the noticeable more road noise these are not worth it if you are not driving it on the track.

Couldn't disagree more tbh.
I wouldn't got back to stock or lowering springs.
What I have lost in ride comfort I have gained in handling on all but the worst surfaces.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Im talking about my experience with the Civic, ofc the toyota is lighter and could be a lot better than the Civic. I also had progressive lowering springs that i found better on bad roads and over speed bumps. Like i said i like the coils but its not only coils that need doing for better handling but things like fast road setup, tires and wheels combo and so on. What i didnt like is the added road noise but that u can get used to.

Don't be swayed by your first few drives, give them time to settle in (check all round for tightness after a few drives too) then start playing around with the settings until you're happy with how you want them.
Set them up against your tyres etc and the loading on your car, you'll be glad you did.

What is the drive comfort like afterwards? I'm seriously considering the same Coilovers on mine, but I use it one a nearly daily basis for commuting and it is a lot of country lanes that are far from perfect, so nervous about rattling my brain to pieces! I was thinking the MeisterR's but on the softest setting (they are ride+height adjustable, aren't they?!?)....
Black 2006: AC & heated leather: 4x Megillian braces, Koni/Tein custom suspension, MTEC+YS+braided brakes, Toyosports manifold, TTE exhaust, Conti PremiumContact2(summer)/ Conti TS860S(winter) / YokoAD08RS (track/summer), Pioneer MVH-390BT + TS-E171ci, FBSW, Robbins mohair hood.

32 clicks of damping adjustment but mine are "bouncy" at the lowest setting, rough country lanes aren't as bad as dropping off the other side of speed bumps.

Wouldn't want them as a daily drive...

Please elaborate.  How are the Meister R compared to what you ran previously?

I have run meister R on 2 different roadsters.
They're stiff no doubt about it but then so are all the coilover options.
For me it is well worth the sacrifice in ride comfort very little roll and much quicker turn  in are just 2 of the pluses but I don't use mine everyday and certainly don't commute in it.
You need to get your bum in a seat of a car with them fitted and Tein and BC too if you can.
Even then a quick test drive doesn't necessarily tell the full picture.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
