Im going to be swapping out my front bumper for an aftermarket one in the near future, can you wire up the drl directly to the existing foglamp switch and cabling and do away with the auto switch box or is it advisable to still use one ?
The foglights should only work when the dipped headlights are on, so that's fine if that's how you want your drl's to work.
I wired mine to my sidelight circuit. To do it properly, you should really wire in a proper control.
Although they are drl I would only use them as an when like the existing fogs, so long as they will work off the existing wiring then im happy. Thanks.

Yeah, I just broke into my existing supply. It all works at 12v, and they are low current, being LED.
