Title: indicator relay
Post by: winger on June 21, 2015, 20:42
Hi all,
I have tried the search facility but cannot find reference to the indicator relay location as I want to fit a warning buzzer.
Any help appreciated

It's located behind the clusters.

I replaced mine with this :  m http://www3.telus.net/s_mcphee/orderTAP.html (http://www3.telus.net/s_mcphee/orderTAP.html) m

If you're looking to increase the volume. This worked for me on my Avensis:

The principal is the same - but breaking into the loom will be easier from the feeds to the wing indicators.

Thanks for the replies guys, interesting info on the tap turn.Yes it was the volume I was interested in.I had purchased a buzzer kit from ebay and eventually connected into the front indicators.Glubux, did you replace the relay by  'feel',if not how much panel removal was involved?

It's easy to do, set the steering wheel to the lowest position, grab the black dial surrounding and pull it, then you can unscrew the dials, the relay is behind, use your turn signal to hear it and locate it.
