Title: Suspension mounting points
Post by: lamcote on November 14, 2017, 16:29
Could anyone possibly tell me the distance (across the car) between the centres of the two inner mounting holes for the front wishbones? Ie the mounting point holes at each end of the lower front cross member which define how far the wishbones are apart.

I can't get an accurate measurement because the bottom of the car is lower than those mount points so I can't just run a tape between the two bolts.

I'm hoping someone might be able to measure a car that's currently on a lift or taken to bits.

Thanks

I'll have a go under the blue car, as it's on the lift right now.  You mean the forward inboard points? Centre to centre?

Brilliant yes please, are the rearward ones about the same or are the wishbones angled like the back?

That would be wonderful, thanks.

Not easy to measure front ones to the 1 mm, but 74 cm front and 70 cm rear.

I am doing a spreadsheet to work out roll centres, geometry, wheel rates etc
