Title: Friedrich Motorsport Exhaust
Post by: alxgreen on February 5, 2018, 19:05
Hey guys,

Just looking into a new exhaust system for my 2 and came across 'Friedrich Motorsport' ones on eBay... anyone had one or heard one, price doesn't seem awful?

It's either that or a proflow one but a couple of bad reviews have made me nervous about them.

Any advice would be excellent  :)

Cheers!

I can't provide any evidence of this at all, but I vaguely remember the Friedrichs being complained about as well.
Might even go as far back as a previous car.

Hmm maybe I'll have to take a chance on a proflow. For £350 it's not really breaking the bank. For me the cobra is a bit too loud, ideally a TTE would be the option to go with but the damn things are like gold dust!

Haven't heard anything negative of Fox. TTEs do come up mind!

There was a TRD exhaust for sale on here earlier. Only single exit but quite rare, I cant remember one being for sale before.

I genuinely had to Google it to make sure it was a genuine item. Yeah single exit could be a deal breaker though

Yeah the only way I'd go single exit is with a lotus style one in the centre...alas I don't have the budget for that. Plus with rear spats I think the dual exit suits better :-)

Single exit, just doesn't do it for me. Twin or more.
(center exit excepted)

Well good luck with the tte bid, they are quality. And looking at the cost of the one on eBay they're holding their value.

I can vouch for the Fox exhausts, no problems with mine and no complaints from the neighbours.
Sounds nice in second gear passing a line of cyclists..[emoji38]
