Title: Multifit alloys
Post by: michaelb on August 12, 2018, 12:35
I'm looking at a set of 17" multifit alloys. Will these go on the 2 ok? Or do you HAVE to have them staggered?

It's interesting that you've posted this in 'performance' rather than 'appearance'.

I think most agree that 17" wheels are not the best for the car's handling or ride.  Not having a decent stagger falls into the same category.

No you don't HAVE to have a stagger, and yes you can run 17" wheels, but performance will suffer.

But quite a few who do run such set-ups (for appearance) are happy to make the compromise.

There's a few in the club that put 17" on and then have gone back to stock sizes/set-up.

Hi, yes I think I jumped to the wrong tab! Although they are interlinked I suppose! I would likely keep my stock wheels anyway, in case I ever decided to race or anything. Thanks for the advice! I'm putting a wide body bodykit on and think it would need a large wheel to look right
