Does anybody know which is + - for the front speakers? I've got blue and light green, and pink and purple (I think, I'm not in front of it and forgot to take a photo). Just trying to avoid disturbing the head unit if I don't have to. ;D
Ta, Joe.
Havent got car near me either to check but can find the installation instructions on the sony website at https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/3864/38640681M.pdf (https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/3864/38640681M.pdf). There is a chance that the toyota wiring colours might not fully match but position in the multiplug might help you
If this is of any help

One thing consistent across the posts are that -ve wires are striped.
Thanks all, that tallies up with what I found after some searching on the web;
"Pink is positive, purple is negative. Other side, green is positive and light blue is negative"
I'll save up the fun of accessing the rear of the head unit until I decide I need rear speakers or a subwoofer. :))
Just for ref - pinouts for the FL head unit :
