I've had all shocks and springs renewed. Should I get the tracking done again, or does it not affect that?
Last year, the camber was not equal both sides, one side half a degree out compared to the other side (front and rear). Would have the 19 year old suspension (as it was then) have caused that?
It could be that your subframe is slightly off centre, which will show as different cambers.
Theoretically the tracking should be unaffected, but as it might now be sitting at slightly different ride heights (than before the work on the struts), it's possible that the tracking has been affected.
If the subframe gets moved slightly, then the rear tracking will be off.
Prior to having the suspension renewed and after having the tracking adjusted, the tracking on all four corners was pretty much spot on. It was the camber that had more notable differences between left and right.
It's free to have it checked, so it might be interesting to compare.
Never hurts to check, especially if there's been changes made in the suspension area.
:) its got to be worth getting it done just for peace of mind :)
then if spot on it helps the rest of your 2 with tyre were as well :)
