Drove to Sywell.
H
Fitted a D&C front strut brace.
Had lunch.
Fitted StuCs kick panels.
Drove home.

Both mods well worthwhile
Car was faultless drank a bit of Shells finest 99 220 odd miles and still some squirt left so could be worse.

So she managed 27 mpg on 90% motorways. I didn't think that was too bad.

How does that compare to yours?

Thats better than you had before isnt it?

Havent checked mine recently but the Highland drive was 33mpg overall in 2018. Thats with a little spirited driving, a fair bit of m-way to get up there, plenty of top gear useage  but very little stop start traffic!

27 is disappointing then considering it was all motorways. 33 is damn good for an average on the HD I think I'd be lucky to see 15.

My average is 23!
2004 Red edition. 2ZZ engine with Rotrex 30 94 supercharger,90mm pulley. Link Storm ECU. Charge cooler. Custom Meggalian exhaust.Uprated fuel pump, regulator and rail.840 injectors.323 BHP at the hubs. Meistier coil overs. Matt under body brace. Front and rear, upper and lower braces,list goes on...

I definitely get more mpg on the HD than day to day driving. I took the GT86 this year and came back from scotland on one tank of fuel (but had to hypermile the last 60 miles on reserve!). Got 40mpg on that run whereas day to day would normally be 33 max so dont feel too bad.

Quick update met up with @KRAMSNEHPETS and @SuperArt

Had a little drive and a proper transport cafe stop.
Was pleased with the car.
Managed to keep up with the 322 whp 2zz which I was surprised about.
Think it would have been a different matter on track with longer straights but roundabouts are a great equaliser.

Don't think I'll get her out this weekend bit wet for all that torque.
A previously undiscovered 2zz advantage perhaps?

Looks like I got 22mpg out of those 34 litres.

30 odd blissful twisty miles.
Hardly a cyclist to be seen.
Glad I went out.
Top down obviously.

OK 151.5 miles covered 35L of shells finest Vpower I work that out at 20mpg. Not ideal.
