The ratios aren't the best for this engine they were short before the supercharger 1st is pretty pointless.


The cold start map is ruinous mega rich which doesn't help.

And I assume low compression ratio doesn't help economy either.

You might want to consider going electric

2x elec motors go assist it. Got to be one of the least stressed engines out there

I was wondering why I could smell so much fuel/exhaust going round the country lanes. We were following a tractor the whole time.

Cold map is too rich especially as the car can take 20 mins to warn up. Also fuel is sprayed into the cylinders between spark to keep them cool. All means a lot of wasted fuel.

...and in exchange you get John Deere levels of pulling power. 😉
