Wow 3rd set of rears in 17,000 mls

Noticed a slow puncture in the left rear this morning and took it to get mended to find I need 2 new rears! It looks like the TTET and my usual spirited driving eats the Yokos! Well at least I must be doing something right and driving it like i stole it  s:shock: :shock: s:shock:    s:D s:D

Good man - tyres are there to be abused!!!!

On another note just feel for me as I go thru a rear tyre in 3-4000 miles on my GSX1400 - and they cost £125 a chuck!!!

sounds bout right my last set of T1R's on the rear lasted 6 months (~6000miles)   s:D s:D   fun fun fun   s:D s:D

but do you do mostly motorway driving? you'll use less tyres/mile

Yes I do a lot of motorway miles that's why my first set lasted around 23K  s:wink: :wink: s:wink:

Ive had 2 track days and I dont have launch control (if you know what I mean  s8) s8)    s:lol: :lol: s:lol:  ).........Mmm and thats why I've had a new clutch too  s:roll: :roll: s:roll:  

......and its amazing how often the back can step out when accelerating around corners with the TTET   s8) s8)    s:lol: :lol: s:lol:  

Thinking of getting a new alignment done on the car as it seems to be driving sideways a lot since the turbo  s:wink: :wink: s:wink:
