Oo that's a good price. Think I'll get on to Chris once my rent and everything comes out next week when I know how much cashish I have left. I'll have to get the other 2 parts though because I have a japanese plate  s:) :) s:)

Do they come stock painted in a colour you supply then?

yeah they are factory supplied in the standard body colours just like the facelift side vents.

the additional j plate inserts are in my list, i just greyed them out for personal reference - cant imagine them costing more than a few quid extra though!

I didn't find the facelifted inserts on their site though, you might wanna mail Graham about it.  s:? :? s:?

Look at my post for the inserts there sold separate, and they don´t say any thing abut it.

Was hot enough today when I got home from work so fitted mine. Pretty quick job, main bit was getting the back bumper off by myself without scratching it on the floor.

After:

Really odd that they didn't put something similar on the pre-facelift model because the old ones didn't match the 'top' mesh at all. Now it does  s:) :) s:)  Very pleased with my £70 investment.

how many screws to remove the bumper? my inserts have arrived now, might give them a shot tomorrow if it's not still insanely windy.

Not sure if you need to remove the bumper. I hope not as I fitted mine last night with the bumper still on. Oops

How the hell did you do it without removing the bumper?   s:? :? s:?  There's a bar right behind it and I couldn't even get my hand behind the grill, clips to take the old grill off were pretty tight on too.

That image looks quite helpful, I already knew where everything was as I'd taken it off to do my exhaust. You just need a 10mm socket, a phillips screwdriver and a way of pulling the annoying push clips out (the bottom ones have dirt and stuff on and tend to seize up nicely and be hard to take out).

It took me about 40 minutes to do the whole job, two people that don't know what they're taking off would probably take 25-30.

One problem I've noticed is parts 52161 and 52162 (the inserts to the outer of the car) seem to not be in that tight and might be easily pulled out, this common with all of them anyone noticed?

put mine in a couple of weeks ago, can't really clean the car extensively because of the rear window situation though

it looks a bit strange with twin tailpipes imo sort of mega-symettrical. so i think i'm going with the blueflame when it's time to upgrade. i've also got a red toyota badge from a celica tsport, even if it's a little hard to make out from this angle.

imo it's an absolute must for a pre03 in any dark colour. silver and red sort of get away with it because the contrast makes the stock grills look a lot darker, but that tacky grey matt plastic finish on a black or dark blue '2 looks awful once you've seen the facelift parts in the flesh

Hi Mark, welcome along.

Do you mean the facelift inserts in the rear bumper? You could try having a look through the for sale section in case a member is selling some, they do come up from time to time, either that or post a request to cheaptoyotaparts in the affiliates section (I don't think their cheap though). There are some specialist mr2 breakers on eBay you could send a message to or finally post up a request in the wanted thread.

I suggest introducing yourself in the new members section and pop up some pics of your car, we like to see pics  s:lol:  s:lol:
If you have a look around there's loads of useful info thread to read through

Just fitted mine.  Is there an official Jap size bit of plastic that fits into the gap to screw a Jap size numberplate onto?
