Sony CDX-F7500 or CDX-F7700

I'm thinking about buying a sony head unit and I've kinda decided upon the CDX-F7500, but, the CDX-F7700 is due out at the end of this month, as far as I can see the only differences are the max output power (52 to 50W), pre out voltage (2V to 4V) and that the key illumination is blue on the new one.

Now i'd prefer the red illumination of the 7500 (as I reckon it would be more in keeping with the dash) but could be swayed over to the 7700 is the differences outlined above were worth it.

Any opinions/advice would be appreciated.

50-52 Watts isn't worth worrying about.

the preouts are, if you ever think you may add an amp then 4v pre-outs will be far superior.

If you've no intention of doing then itdoesn't matter.

Sony havent done much to upgrade the spec only what you have mentioned and still in my view not in the league of Alpine or pioneer
