auto h/u switch?

is there any gadget out there which will automatically switch speaker outputs between a h/u and another sound device

i don't mind even if it is a manual switch especially if i can get it to control the power switch between the two items

yeah it's a switching box normall under the AV acsories ! plug in mulitples soruces and then you can select which one you need

Are you switching the Speaker connections or the line-in to the amp feeding the speakers ???

It appears from you post that you want to bypass the amp and connect directly to the speakers ??

to be decided but probably switch before the amp

I think what adz means is he wants to switch two (audio) inputs into one amp, it's just his diagram came out a bit erm.. wrong  s:) :) s:)

yeah it's just a standard switch AV box try carudiodiscount.co.uk

they may have some if not phone then up and see if they recomend anyhting else

But poeple do use the Av controller box'es for say adding a PS2 or mp3player etc etc so it's not un heard off

cheers buster i will give them a shoot once i have got the new h/u and have finished building the secondary input
