Focals crossover setting

Just a quick post to see how you guys have set your crossovers (for the Focal 165a's).

There are two settings, 'live' and 'smooth'. The manual says that smooth applies 3dB attenuation. What does this mean? Is the attenuation of the tweeter or woofer? Excuse my numptiness   s:oops: :oops: s:oops:

for the tweeter and this will set the Harshness of the tweeter

if you have a lots of bass then you will need the Live but if your just using the focals then smooth will do fine
