Spraying inner headlight

hi guys im looking to spray my inner headlight red,im not talking about the clear plastic but the inner black,would this be illegal? I know it wouldn't change the light coming out ,but im just not sure about displaying red in my lights.Can someone please clear up my query ,thanks

Providing it doesnt flash you should be ok

Don't no what the law is in the uk but you can do it here... I'd say its the same over there... As you say it's not gonna affect your light output so it should not be a problem
