In case any of you get this....

Have over the last few days developed an annoying mousy squeak, somewhere on the left side of the car, that only appeared to happen at around 60+ mph. Seemed to be affected by road surface a bit so wondered if it was suspension.

Had a tweak with the car at work, drove home, no squeaks.

Turned out to be a sprung pin under the bonnet on the right hand side as you face the car about two thirds up (you can't miss it). It's has a rubber cover that is corrugated (if that's the right word) that recesses into a bonnet hole. It looked a bit cockeyed to me so I straightened the rubber cover up and the squeak appears to have disappeared.

Must have been the pressure at higher speeds that was causing it to rub/move about more and generate the squeak. Thought I'd let you know for reference in case any of you get it sometime.
