On mine, unless you go over it with a microscope, it looks bloomin' fantastic ! I would have another done by Ray any day of the week. But you pays your money ...

The window issue was the top right could be where 2 ends of the seal join.

Had my roof fitted today, very happy!
BUT, while I was chatting to (possibly) Ray, we looked at the drains on mine. Mine were in poor condition, but Ray had a go at them to make them last longer.
He asked me to mention that you have to take the roof back off to replace them later, but he will happily put on a new set for you if you take them with you. Remember, they are the same age as the roof you are replacing, and will be at least as brittle as the roof vinyl!!

The roof is down on my MR2,
And I\'m grinning, grinning ear to ear!

Quick question for those who've had a roof fitted by Jack Smith.
I have a red edition so will be looking to have a red roof, what colour is it inside? is it still black?
Also do the "ears" Chanel and strap hooks come as standard or are they by request.
Contacted them today price is £290.00 and book-in time about 10 weeks.

Assuming it's the same as the blue, the cloth is galvanised on the inside. So, yes it would be black. He installed the channel and renewed the studs on my roof without being asked. (He also repaired the drainage bags while he was at it  s:D :D s:D  )
He's a very nice chap (but he does like to talk Lol).

Hi,

Has anyone got any pictures of the mohair RED hood down with the RED chilli cloth interior seats to see the contrast??

Is the red of the seat a bright red in comparison with the red roof which is a wine red colour etc?

Be interested to find out if there is an actual image taken back showing the whole MR2 with the roof down with seats together.

Unfortunately that thread only shows the different colour roofs.

It doesn't show the red seats in contrast to a red roof to see the colour difference of the Reds.
If someone can post a picture of the red roof down that has red chilli cloth interior that would be great.

Red edition won't be the same comparison as it's a canvas red roof with red leather.

Ducatiross can you show us an image of how your cloth red seats look with the red mohair roof down.

Fabric for red roof come from BAS he tells me.
In my opinion I think its a great job for the price, fitted by a genuine guy.

That does look really good. Most of the "RED" edition sable grey Roadsters I see for sale have really dirty or faded looking roofs so this is a big improvement!

Is that material supplied by BAS Jaguar Trim Specialist?

I have mine booked in for September due to the long waiting list.
In the meantime I used Photoshop to how it could look.
