Cleaning inside fogs on fl

Is it possible or will i need a new set?

They have some what appears be dirt or road grit behind the lens wanted to clean them out

ah bummer, scared to check price, there a few bits of something grainy in there otherwise are ok, will get a new set from mr t

The Bay of E is your friend, same ones are used on early Prius too.
You can get new ones without paying the earth

They have a tendency to corrode from behind and there's not a lot you can do about it.
I got fed up replacing mine due to cracks and smashed, since fitting Lamin-x covers I've never had a problem  m http://www.lamin-x.com/Toyota-MR2-03-05 ... p/t105.htm m

do those covers work, will have to see if can find some in the UK


re. replacing them i think mine have latest ten years to the month so not too bad although i could see a bit of dirt in them last year, not sure what backs of them look like when take them off most likely a poor state

I've got the same problem. Didn't know that the gritty stuff was an indicator for a fubar'dness. I'm guessing this is an age thing and can't really be prevented? Otherwise I guess we roadster owners will have to replace fog lamps pretty frequently.
