Yes finally happening.
It isn't the first V6 supercharged MK3.
I believe that honour went to Rogue Motorsport.
I think one of their race cars had a 2gr with an Eaton blower bolted on.
Good chance it's the first road legal V6 supercharged MK3.
Bloody sure nobody has a rotrex 1mz roadster in the UK.

Hope it will be as good as we all think it should.

Tbh as the prices of 2gr continue to fall going Fi on a 1mz is probably not financially viable but it is different.

If it came down to finance, non of us would spend money on these cars as they're not worth much. But we all do cuz they're awesome little motors, yours has the potential to be a little more awesome than the rest, so lead the way.....

Actual work to be done in no particular order.

Fit charge cooler, rad and pipe work
Fit Rotrex C30-94
Fit ECUmaster DET3 piggyback
Fit Supra NA injectors
Fit TTE Exhaust
Map ECU.
Flush coolant
General maintenance discs pads oil etc
Hopefully modify dipstick so oil can be checked without the need for a spanner.
Fit camber bolts
Fit roll centre adjusters
Fit adjustable droplinks
Fit EGT, AFR, oil temp/pressure and boost sensors for my PLX multi gauge

Think that's it.

2gr swap is still expensive however the price of Lexus RX350 have come down. You can get a high miler for less than 4k which gets you the ECU and engine you need. Obviously you would then get a few quid back for the rest of the car. Until recently people were still paying 5k importing the engine from the states.
You don't need an E153 an S series will cope if you aren't a silly boy saving you a few quid.
You need engine mounts and manifolds and I am not sure about the cost of those.
People used to say 8-10k for the 2gr I reckon 6-8 these days.
Maybe optimistic but maybe not.

Pretty sure the TTE is far from ideal but they look and sound great.
It's something to look into next year if I want more power.
Along with rising rate fuel pressure regulator and high flow fuel pump.

There's an 2gr engine forsale on ebay for £2800 so just add a few quid for labor...
1MZFE, Emerald ECU, LSD, BC coilovers, custom middle & front under brace, F / R strut brace. Slotted discs & yellow pads, Blue flame exhaust.
Carrera leather seats, Davids bars, Focal subwoofer & voce speakers & bling !
TRD Stage 2 F & R spoilers,  Haltezza bonnet, C1 side vents, JDL rear panel

Always wary of engines alone.
Does it come with all ancillaries?
Does it even run properly?
The ECU would have to be purchased separately.

That is food for thought. I don't have the skills to do that level of work myself, so it would mean speaking to someone like Patrick for a price I think.

I am sure the TTE will deliver on the sound front, absolutely!!  8)
