Rocker cover gaskets being replaced today
Top of the engine looks ok.

Friday it should be finished not sure when I will pick it up.
Has a habit of behaving itself for Pat and breaking on me.
Once I have put a 100 miles on it I should know it's ok.

Helen could have written that.
(almost) every time I take it out it's pretty much perfect save one or two expected quirks of piggyback.
When Helen takes it out it stalls, stumbles, erratic boost.,etc.
If Helen never hears "it was fine when I drove it" ever again she'll be a happier woman. I'm sure you feel the same.

Mechanically all good.
Unfortunately DET3 won't control the injectors properly in fuel implant mode.
Batch fire just not giving enough control at high rpm with boost.
Quick Google and can't find anyone running FIT mode on a V6.
So it's back to running it as a normal piggyback.
Not the end of the world but a shame.
Stand alone ECU next year.
If someone else is paying.
