Not enough gold. B6 deserves a gold engine.

Gold isn't my thing.
Black and bare metal give good contrast with the yellow.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

For me.
Polished bare metal.
Kleenex on standby.

With the gold engine it would be like the briefcase in pulp fiction when opening the engine bay

Engine is back together.
It's being re wired to get rid of all the bodges.
Then there is a complete new exhaust to fit.
Shouldn't be long now.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Any idea when you'll get it back?

No.
Still things to be done.
Should be ready in time for the snow.

I still have your Jack and other bits and pieces.

Just some final exhaust work to do.
Then some rolling road time.
Will surely need to with all the head work that's been done and a hopefully much freer flowing exhaust.

Good to hear there is some progress.

Hope it will be back home soon.

When you mentioned rolling road I wondered if you were having an ECU!

Quick question on that, bearing in mind my own possible plans for the winter, do you not need to run a rebuilt engine in before the rolling road work? Or can it be done gently using safe revs?
