Hello all !

Soooo, visited Rutland MR2 today and picked up a 5 speed LSD gear box, a pre facelift bumper and a bonnet, plus Some bits for call the midlife

Pictures of a gearbox in gearbox out job to follow soon.

Big thanks to Rutland, fingers crossed the new box is good !  :P

You're certainly putting some work in. Look's great though. Shame you had to replace the box. But Lsd is going to be nice.

It already had LSD  (:< >:) anyway got to be done as we speak I have the old box out and just picked up a clutch today , mine was new but the thrust bearing was noisy from go so going back under warranty.

Picks to follow !

Morning all, update.

Old box is out. New old box (thanks Rutland mr2) is in.

Brand new clutch, even though the old one had done only 1200 miles but the thrust bearing was making a noise.

Hopefully bolt all rest back together and have running Monday ( I'm working sat / sun)

The lake trip resulted in a busted shock ( was on way when we went)

I'm guessing next update is going to be shocks all round !

New ones are bound to transform it.

What you going for, KYB's with some lowering springs are popular at the moment, or you thinking of coilover's?

KYB I don't see the poin in getting coil overs as I'll never bother altering them

Looking good for some more days out this year! Are those rubbers genuine Toyota or pattern? If they're pattern I think they'll want trimming down to fit, I'm sure the ones @KTM Rider had needed trimming to fit the bump stops.

They'll be fine but sure they'll need trimming down to fit the stops, I'll ask H tomorrow night as he was there as well.
