Guys and Girls

Me being me, I've changed the rear of the car, basically, I purchased, sprayed and fitted a C1 body kit that i was pleased with, however, bored over xmas I sprayed and fitted some rear spats to a spare bumper I had, anyway, cant decide which look I prefer, the C1 hides the exhaust more but to me looks a little "meaner"  the bumper with the spats shows the exhaust more, what do you think

If you like the C1 you need to modify that exhaust.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Prefer without. Looks neater.
But that's not really a surprise coming from me.

I can't decide. I quite like the valance but the exhausts would have to ve coming out either side of the license plate.

Makes the spoiler look a bit small to me but then that can also be because mine is so big.

Seriously, the only hárd observation; do something with the license plate; looks off centre this way.

I can see why you can't decide as they both look good. I think if you have C1 all round then the C1 bumper should stay however I like the simplicity of the spats. I'm tempted by some spats on eBay at the moment

It is not that simple either btw. The rear crash bar literally gets in the way.

Tricky one. I love spats but they are common and not that exciting. The C1 is rare and looks much more like a bodykit/modified car (thats good in my mind at least). Especially if you have the full kit?

I guess the C1 was done without exhaust cut outs to suit every type of configuration so you could cut out above each pipe to let them be seen. Possibly even extend the tips somehow to make them more prominent?

Alternatively, you could do a new exhaust to exit in the centre at the very top of the bumper (a la paganni, senna) to exit under the rear wing for more downforce!

PS (I agree that your number plate would look better lower).

Should have said, its a copy C1 not an original

I did think of both options of cutting the rear over the exhausts or simply fabricating some extension tips, I shall investigate

From what I can tell all that is needed is the exhaust has to be extended out and slightly higher. Next the fiberglass of the lip trimmed  in an elliptical shape to match the shape of the exhaust.
If that was done it would look complete.

I think showing off the exhausts looks better

:) its good to see something different on our back ends as we get so use to seeing spats and twin exhaust.
all though its different it does need some work on the exhaust if i was to go ahead with it :)

BahnStormer

with the exhaust as it is, it HAS to be without.... if you could have the exhaust tips out so the were flush with the valence, then it might look okay.... but it just looks plain daft to have them tucked behind the trim like they are in that photo.
