Title: How to shorten and dogleg actuator arm
Post by: jvanzyl on March 19, 2024, 15:13
Hi all,
I need to shorten and "dog leg" my actuator arm - any advice?

(Heat/ it's not something you should do/ etc)

Many thanks

Bury the body in very wet sand.  Heat the bit you want to bend, when it's red hot you should be able to bend it with two pairs of pliers.

Then die the threaded end until you have the thread where you need it and cut the excess off. ;D
