Title: FInally, my ride post!

Hi there people!

Final I've had the time and the patience to take some new pictures of my car! There was a car meet and I went with mine...


I've made a few camera experiments, since it's a new toy for me...

Hope you like it!

List of mods:
2ZZ engine with 6spd gearbox (with LSD)
XTD stage 3 clutch
Koni ajustable shock absorbers
TTE Style bar
Pioneer head unit (AVH P3100 DVD)
Silver hardtop (not mounted right now)

Next mods:
17" rims
Body kit
Rear spoiler
A mirror to passanger sunscreen (my wife keeps saying that she don't have a damn mirror) :D

It's Red - That works for me.

I believe the sun visors from the mk2 M-X-Fives have mirrors and they are the same fitment - worth checking out but not a mod for the purists

Welcome, were the Koni shocks inserts, what do you think of them?
I nearly went down that route with mine but ended up going coil overs.

I had to cut the old shock absorbers. Than the Koni charges fit in!

They are great! They don't compromise the comfort, as they are adjustable. if I'm riding with my wife, I set them to be soft. When I go to a track day, or tackle the local mountain, I set them to be hard!

Since I haven't bought yet new springs... and the roads around here are terrible, I don't want to lower the car too much...

Thanks for the tip... will look for them... my wife keeps complaining that the damn car don't have a mirror in the sunscreen...




Now the latest news... last night I was coming back from the garage, where we solved the engine light issue (O2 sensors), when my clutch plate kind of snapped. It broke a piece, and broke the body of my starter! will post some photos later!

Had to tow the car back to the garage! Now, Have to look for a starter, and a clutch disk (I still have the original 2zz clutch plate), since my clutch is worn out!

I had a big important trip to do tomorrow... now I'll have to borrow my wife Opel Corsa... :-[
