When i got my MR2 it had a crappy plastic gear knob fitted. I am not really into modding the car as i think it looks good standard. but as it is proving hard to find an original gear knob i found this chrome ball type that i had fitted to an old beetle many years ago. it has a bit of wight to it so the throw feels nice and solid, and also it sits lower on the shaft. I think it will do until i find an OE one to replace it.

IIRC (sorry, if I recall correctly s:D :D s:D ) the SMT one is like that. Don't know if it's a staight swop though.

Yes that looks just like mine standard knob in my smt. Looks good
