Title: Removing instrument cluster
Post by: Deanms on May 21, 2013, 03:24
I've done lots of searching and there is loads of info on removing the instrument cluster however, I was wondering if unplugging the clocks would have an effect on the immobiliser?

The reason I ask is because when I unplugged and then re fitted the clocks/ instrument panel on my VW Polo, the immobiliser kept kicking in and would not let the car run; I ended up having to get the car recoded by VW! I don't fancy having to tow my 2 down to Mr T...

Cheers!
