Try as I might I can not find a single photograph of my car when I purchased it in February 2011 so here is one of my favourite pictures of the car earlier this year in Scotland.
(http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/hh610/stewartatboro/P4190115.jpg) (http://s1254.photobucket.com/user/stewartatboro/media/P4190115.jpg.html)
Owning an MR2 Roadster was a must when I went to have a look at the car just after it was released as the replacement for the mk2. Never had a drive in a mk2 but many years earlier had frequently been a passenger in a mk1.
After some time during which finances were tied up in family concerns finally bought the car I had always wanted. Looked on auto trader saw one for sale locally and went and bought it, all within a couple of hours. Didn't know of the forum or the significance of the tf300 edition but knew I had got something special. Even running out of petrol on the A66 during the test drive didn't put me off. s:) :) s:)
During the first year of ownership it was a weekend motor with a few short holiday breaks with the wife, who has only driven it once!!
Not sure why but in February 2012 found myself looking on the forum, didn't have any issues but just curious to see what others did with their cars. Noticed there was a meet up starting in Skipton so decided to pop along. Thats when it all started...... s:bounce: :bounce: s:bounce:
to be continued.....
Welcome onboard mate! Looks a very clean one!
No need to welcome him along. He's part of the forum furniture, Stewart's a thoroughly top bloke with a great car.
Easy mistake to make. He's the committee member who blends into the background haha s:) :) s:)
Lovely car and it makes a lovely noise too I can tell you.

We had a very nice exhaust moment as we went our separate ways at M1 junction 20 the other month. So +1 on the exhaust note. s;-) ;-) s;-)
May I congratulate you on the choice of colour sir? Nice looking example Stewart! Ah, dreaming on how mine will look like after the facelift! s:D :D s:D
Hey Stewart, car is looking great as always!
Cheers Chris, think the front bumper will need some attention after a return to Scotland next year. It does get a bit pebble blasted.
Always looks nice and clean when I see this car sounds good too
Now happily parked on my drive.
My second 2.
Stews Blue.

If by bucket you mean wheelie bin! 😂
No newfie cuddles for you then.
Now done over 200 miles in my stewardship.
90 of them lidless.
Just over quater of a tank for 90 miles is just a touch more frugal than the V6.
They really are fun little cars it does make me wonder why I was so desperate to add huge amounts of power.
Another 50 ftlb and it would be perfect.
Think I had forgotten that less can be more.

Corrected that for you. ;)
As me ole mate Bob Hoskins used to say. It's good to torque.
The fairy godmother didn't go chasing bhp did she.
Nuff said.

The comment was related to size and quantity. Everything is super sized with that breed. 😂😂
Another 180-200 miles done today.
Not sure i like those AD08RS on the back with AD08R on the front.
Will check pressures but doesn't feel right somehow.
Also EML came on joy.

One is for the focus which occasionally throws an injector code but as I don't care about it much I just clear it and carry on. Doesn't happen that much tbh.
If its an o2 sensor then its the last of the 3 to be replaced, unless it the one after the cat which was replaced early in my ownership so it might be second time around.

It could just be an exhaust leak as you told me its got a bit of a rattle on.
Little top down drive to blue water nothing exciting.
Discovered the TRD valve caps gone this morning no idea when the went.
Not upset about loosing them not to my taste but I hope the ass hole who took them dies a slow painful death.
They were an odd set anyway
As the song goes---1 white one 1 black one and one with.....
Appropriate ditty, congratulations to England's 15

Isn't it time to change the name of this thread to "Someone else's Blue TF300 Roadster"?

Was thinking something similar. 👍
I like that there is continuity though. A pedigree if you will.
The deed has been done. ;)

Not gonna lie, I'm going to miss following it around the countryside and it's always been easy to spot when I'm arriving late to a service station carpark...
