I have just noticed that the black plastic grill, with the diamond pattern, in the front bumper has a bit missing in the top corner where the tow hook goes in, just below the painted part of the bumper that pulls out for the hook.
Have I got a bit missing that should fill this hole or do all cars have the gap?

Mine has the hole too.... but it has been in a bump and is also missing the female thread to take the tow eye - So don't take it as gospel!
Never tow the 2 - Put on a low loader or one of the RAC/AA retrieval arrangements!!
Mines has a hole there too, I'm a FL
