Title: Wind deflectors

Made a pair in 2 mm perspex.  Much nicer fit to the car.  Less strain on the rubber/plastics.

Have you tried them at motorway speed yet?

I am just wondering if there is a trade off in performance against the wider 3mm ones?

They are plenty rigid and go in tight enough.  It will be a while before I do motorway with windows down.  I'm a wuss.

You fellows are just too kind.  I've got enough material to make two more pairs.  Looks like your lucky day.

PM me your address, Jason.

Yes, but I'd want them a bit bigger for motorway speeds.

I think it's also a case of finding the balance between just big enough to do the job and not that big that it's in the way getting in and out or visible across the wing mirror.

David is in the workshop refining the tooling for clamping and bending, so it's consistent and repeatable.  Then I should be able to churn these things out.  I'll be sending a pair to Jason for quality control.

Jason has given his feedback.  Got to adjust the angle of the bend and trim the ends a little.  2 mm works just fine.  Second edition in progress.

Thank you Jason!
