Hi all, i recently had the 2 repaired after a rather heavy rear end shunt from a white van man, the garage seems to have done a good job on it, it looks great and everything seems to be in line etc. but the rearend now seems very twitchy, when cornering it seems fine but going in a straight line any pothole, drain cover or lump in the road makes the backend kick out  randomly and it very disconcerting. Any ideas what it might be?

The car is a standard 04 Red edition, so its had no mods at all.

i'd be getting the suspension laser alignment checked, sounds as though somethings out of alignment

Mine did that once when the tyre pressures were too high

garage probably has tyre pressures way out

if that checks out I'd agree with stu

post up a schedule of what repairs they did and we can comment if they missed anything

It's back in the garage today, i took the mechanic out for a spin and he noticed it, he did mention tyre pressues so hopefully they will get to sorted soon.
