Alloys/Tyres Opinions

Hi all.

Right, as youll see Im still a bit of a newb to all this, so forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question.
Been looking to make a few changes to my 2000 2, nothing to major, just apperance wise really.  Bought some side vents and a few other bits and bobs and thought about some new alloys?

Now the question is I note that the post facelift models had different sized tyres/alloys front to rear??!!  Is this something I can just do on my 2000 model??  Without too much hassle?

Also, on the subject of alloys, I do kinda like the 5 spoke ones, so has anyone got any suggestions on what I could maybe get, as well as how much they may cost me with a set of decent tyres on them??
