Wheels and Warranty

Hi just wondering if anyone can help. I`m thinking of getting some non Toyota alloy wheels for my 2, will this affect the warranty  s:?: :?: s:?:  I couldn`t find anything with the search button on this so sorry if this has been discussed before.

From my short discussions with Toyota GB on mods to my car, if a problem can be identified as arising from a modification they can use it to avoid warranty work.

However if you are worried check with the dealer who you would use for warranty work.

I have to say in my opinion that using non-stock wheels is so widespread that it is unlikely to cause you any real difficulties with your dealer as long as you take the effort to ensure that the wheels specifications e.g. offset, width, diameter etc allow the wheels to fit without detriment to the car's bodywork, brake calipers etc.
