Rear Speaker Template??

Hi all,

Looking to build a shelf in the back of my car to take some 6x9's and I was just wondering if anyone who has done this took any measurements.  I don't have any hinged doors fitted (never had any with car) so can't even use them for a template.

Any help would be good.
