OK I need the engine replacing on the 2... Its got the 1zz fe in it

What else fits with little or no modifcation or is it just standard for standard

There are other cars like the Celica,Avensis etc that use the 1.8vvti but some of them have a lower bhp due to slightly different internals and are generally higher mileage so probably best to look out for a post 2003 MR2 one.
