Updating rear light clusters/tail lights

Hey guys I've a 2001 2 and thinking of upgrading rear brake lights / light clusters to face lift ones

Can I do a straight swap or do they need to be adapted

Any issues over wiring bulbs etc???

The bulb holders and wiring are different,so you need to purchase the wiring with the facelift lights or buy one of the adapters available on the forum.
