Is option 3 gloss black inside the rim fading to anthracite on the face of the wheel? If it is I like that but the anthracite looks too flat (almost battleship grey?) I would go for a smoked silver or a colour like the first wheel instead?

I did try but couldn't get the finish as good as the guy who did the bodywork  s:-D :-D s:-D

hehe, its definitly going to be a colour i feel is more interesting than anthracite.

Had a go at this fella and I can't get it right either on your picture.

tbh though I cannot see a huge difference in finish between your starter post picture

Process the guy is going to go through is acid dip bead blasting primer paint and lacquer. Showed me some recents he did in shadow chrome very similar.

I think Black or white work best with them color MR2's.

Had 2 options the hyper in liquid paint or shadow chrome in powder coat, the hyper is the preferred colour but the durability and finish off powder triumphed but ive asked to make it lighter than it normally is. Shadow chrome is painted chrome then painted in black (we asked for a lighter black. Ps saw the oem bmw hyper tye other week its amazing colour!

Will do one of car when i clean it its done nearly 500 miles since last clean and sit in garage 2 weeks due to caliper issues and me being ill, dunno if ill get it cleaned today tho  s:( s:(

Quick question...

Does it look better in person that in the pictures? I can see the effect on the wheels it's just not as pronounced as my piccy.

Oh yes! It POPS! its bloody hard to catch it i n all different lights with iphone cam the eye catches everything.
