OK y'all, I guess this has been discussed at length on the forum but I need the advice from you guys...
I got bridgestone re040's on my '2, but the rears are shot. The fronts are still good.
1 is there any where with 040's left
2 can I put the latest equivalent bridge stone on the rear until the fronts need replacing
3 if I need to put 4 tyres on it what are the current faves at reasonable cost

i got a full set of bs fitted in December, no problems at all getting them done. unlike last time i brought a set they were struggling to get them in as they were on back order and no sign of when they could get them in to the uk.

Have you considered putting Toyos on a full set would be just over £200 and they are a worthy replacement.

Got my full set of Toyos last month for just over £170 inc delivery. ( fitting extra). Stick with what you prefer though. lots of options if you go for a full set.

I dunno what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get anyway near that price... I have found a set of 4 coopers for £200 with fitting extra  s:? :? s:?  
Got a quote for some firestones @ £370!

They are quoting £110 each for the rears! Can't see anywhere doing a full set for £200.

That's where I've gone wrong, when I search by registration number it quotes the rears as being 225 and the fronts 195. I'm not at home so couldn't check.

I have a facelift as well, I use the 225/40/16 Toyos at the rear and 195/50/15 fronts. Its the combo I like and it worked out at an okay price. Those rears are £46.73 each.

Aii 55's all around not the best idea you want 45's on back or atleast 50. Toyo's Well worth it even tho ive only got them on back im not in financial position to swap fronts they have plenty tread.
