Hi All,

I'm sure your all probably fed up with threads on lowering springs. So i'll keep it short.  I thought i'd read just about every thread on lowering springs on this site but i may have missed a few.  A colleague has told me stories where after lowering springs have been fitted with standard shocks,
where the shock has gone to full extention, the spring has been dislodged from its housing. I had been told by the supplier i won't have a problem, is this true?

I've had Eibach springs fitted on the standard shocks.

The spring/damper unit is under compression even without any load (you need to use spring compressors to get the top onto the unit) so there is no danger of the spring coming out of it's socket.
