Hi all

Ok I really think I need a rear spoiler on my Roadster, I have a factory fitted bodykit and I think Its just missing something..... when I had my last roadster i bought one from ebay it was a bit crappy it was like the one that fits on rear of boot lid that kind of curves down over lights although the one I had didnt curve over lights as it was a bit shorter.

So where do I get one from had a look on ebay and there is a pretty aggressive one which I think is a bit ott for my car I like the boomerang style but I gather they are rare.  Is there any sites selling the spoilers (even Japanese ones that I can get imported)?

Thanks

My favourite is the offical toyota spoiler but as I was informed at ding day makes working on the car difficult because it prevents removal of rear lights.
JDL is my second choice and I will get one eventually.
Think it would look good in black if you have black wheels.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Think the JDL is similar to mine, which is Carbon Fibre but would look similar to matte black.  Would look good on your car!  You can see it here if you're interested.

Ive just bought the first one of the spoilers that I was given the link for ie. The ducktail one but not impressed with fitment upon test fitting to car, so will send it back and get the jdl one. So just be aware if you do decide to buy that one

Jdl one fits crap as well. Wrong shape for the engine cover, had to drill and use self tappers to hold each end down.

Really? B*gger! How do you fill the gap between lid and spoiler? And do you screw in through reverse of lid?

I contacted company and they said it needs some shaving off to make it fit...

Used that double sided foam tape. Screwed it in from underneath as the ends just kept popping up. Took loads of prep for paint as well as it was crazed all over.

Hi, i bought a gen7 celica, anyway had a water leak on the tailgate and had to remove the spoiler. Had a wicked thought and laid it on the back of the 2, tbh it didn't look to bad, just needed a slight mod on the mount to lift it 25mm or so.
