I found this website whilst searching for custom dials.  They can make up nearly any colour combination.

I have no affiliation with them.  Just thought they were interesting.

I have fitted a custom one in my car :

Before :

After:

I had to fix minor things, like the alignments of the three dials, the RPM needle that wasn't facing the zero while the engine is off... But it looks nice (if you like blue...   s:lol:  s:lol:  )

Yep, I like that too. The last one seems to have a carbon look to the backing plate which is good. Looks more up-market than the standard ones, especially with the gloss surround.

About 63 euro for the standard one and about 10 more to have custom colours.

Not sure if they add postage too though.

They also do the aluminium rings for the speedo/heater, all quite tempting.

Maybe the club should buy a bulk order and then sell them from Stews rolling shop?!

How hard were they to fit?

Topdownman

#21
There are 2 types, ones with bigger holes so that you dont have to take off the needles. These are easier to fit but could leave a white bit showing? The needles are apparently hard to line up again if you take them off.

It would be good to  see a wider photo to show how they look with the standard heater lights on if anyone has got one?

Was looking at the wider holes, maybe inserting a ring of fine red plastic behind the needle before adding the face so it glows red through the gap?. Hopefully the join would be hardly visible if cut well.

Won't that be a bit bright at night???

Glubux

You can adjust brightness as before but even at 100% it's not too bright.
