Anyone else think £9.33 is crazy for wiper inserts ?

Just got a pair of windscreen wiper inserts (rubber only) from local dealer, and was charged £9.33 for them !!

I could swear the last lot (couple of years ago), were only a couple of quid.

Invoice says my car is an IMPORT (its actually a UK spec car bought in Holland), so maybe they had to charge me more as the normal parts won't fit  :-) :-) :-)

I recently had a 2K service done on mine and as I thought it best to use genuine toyota wiper blades.

They changed the whole lot at stupid money and they are the biggest load of pants ever, they smeared the screen from day one and I had to re-locate the rubber in one of them because it was only making contact with half the screen.

Think i'll be getting a good pair from Halfrauds in the near future.

First off, apologies if this comes across as sounding like some kind of advert, but I absolutely have to recommend Rainx.

One application lasts about 6 months, maybe a bit more. Once you've treated your windscreen, you almost never use the wipers at all. Especially at high speed. It's also good for the side mirrors and rear screen.
